Big sister Giavanna told me during her mama’s maternity session that the baby’s name was “baby Frankie” They still hadn’t decided on a name at that point and I had my fingers crossed that thy would go with Gia’s pick. Because how cute would that be?! Sure enough! Here is Francesca. <3 (Baby Frankie) And she was SO good for our newborn session.

Waylon | Birth

There was something about this birth that really struck a chord for me. It may have been the way I watched Joe dote upon Morgan as she labored for hours upon hours. Or the fact that they had waited 4 years for this moment. Then listening to Morgan’s mom choking up as she prayed over the labor and the three of them, I almost lost it. It felt like a little glimpse into the future. The moments I hope to share with my own daughters some day. Here are a few of my favorite images from this beautiful experience.

CNY Newborn Photography | Poppy

This little girl had the cutest, craziest hair ever! I tried to flatten it out a bit a few times and that wasn't going to happen. I wish I could pull off a crazy hair day like this beauty! So this is Poppy.. Poppy Linden (how awesome is her name?!) She was so sweet, and I loved working with her parents again. I'm hoping they make a trip back to NY for 1 year pictures. ;)

My first twins of 2016! These beautiful girls were so wonderful to work with. They would fuss. But once you laid them next to each other they settled into the close, curly positions I'm sure they knew all too well sharing mama's womb. They knew their sister was there, they were safe, they were cozy. Their favorite place to be..was together. And my heart was a puddle <3

Year in review - 2015

What an incredible year. 23 maternity sessions, 4 births and 56 newborn sessions! I have learned so much and can't wait to see what next year brings!
