A big announcement!

I am SO excited to announce that ..

Light of Mine Photography is now offering a baby registry!

Your friends and family have already been asking what they can do for you. What do you and the baby need? How can they help? A shower or sprinkle is often held and gifts of cute tiny outfits and itty-bitty socks are given. Hey, maybe even a raffle is done and you get a stack of much needed diapers (one of the best things about baby showers). These things are of course wonderful and mostly necessary. But let’s be honest, the outfits are worn a handful of times and are either stained or outgrown and the socks never even stay on. I learned after baby #2 that sleepers are almost always the way to go for newborns. The diapers- well, they get pooed in. We all love the sweet little outfits, baby toys, and socks. Of course, I am by no means saying I wasn’t grateful for these types of gifts. I’m only suggesting that your mom, sisters, and BFFs would love contributing to something that lasts longer. Something meaningful. I would say photographs that quite literally freeze these fleeting moments for you is pretty darn valuable.

How does it work? Once you have inquired and know that I have availability on my calendar around your due date for the type of sessions(s) you are looking to do, fill out the form provided on my registry page under “request a listing.” Once that is complete, a custom page is created for you. Use the link to share with friends and family in your shower invitation or when they ask what you still need for the baby!

I have been wanting to offer this for a very long time now and truly hope this can be useful for you as you prepare for your little one’s arrival!
