Meeting Milo

I received a text from Nicole around 8:30 Sunday morning. She was letting me know that her water had broke but they weren't headed to the hospital quite yet. It wasn't even 20 mins later she said the contractions were getting really strong, they were headed to the hospital and she didn't think it would be long.

Well... it wasn't!

I got to the hospital at about 10:15 to find that the baby had arrived minutes before I got there! I was disappointed to have missed the birth. But so blessed to have been a part of this amazing day and thankful to be able to still capture these memories for them.

Fresh 48 - Emily

What is a fresh 48 session? These are in-hospital newborn sessions done in the first two days of life. As much as we would like to think differently, they are already growing and changing. These sessions are all about capturing firsts and tiny details. I am documenting the beginning of a journey as a family, the start of a new relationship, a new life.

This is Emily. I was able to photograph so many special moments during our session. Precious snuggles, the first time she opened her eyes, and the first time she met her sweet, big brother. 

She is so loved. <3

Class of 2016 Senior Rep Search

I am now beginning my search for senior representatives! If you are currently a junior and will be graduating high school in 2016 (or know someone who is) check out the following information! 

Requirements

• Must be a junior graduating in 2016
• Have great style, personality and enjoy being in front of the camera
• Have your parents or legal guardians sign an agreement/release form
• Agree to tell your friends and peers about Light of Mine Photography
• Must have an active social media account (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter..)
• You must agree to promote only Light of Mine Photography from the time of acceptance through the entire 2016 school year
• You are responsible for sending a minimum of 3 referrals. Sessions must be completed by December 31, 2015 or you will be required to pay 50% of your session fee

Incentive

• free mini session prior to your senior year
• free full senior session (if requirement is met)
• images for social media
• 50 rep cards
• refer 1-4 friends receive $10 credit for each & your session fee is covered!
• refer 5-9 friends receive $20 credit for each
• refer 10 friends receive a free iPad mini
• all referred friends will receive 20% off their session fee!

Farewell 2014

I have had such an incredible year. This is been my businesses second year of operation and I cannot be more thankful for the support I have had. Here are a few highlights from 2014. 

My goals for the upcoming year

- Be featured in a publication

- Photograph triplets

- Display my work in 4 hospitals/offices/clinics/boutiques

- Photograph a public figure

- Create a loyalty program
